Everything was great, and so was April. The cabin was very clean and charming. The bed was comfortable. The fridge is small, so if planning to bring food and things for cabin, I’d recommend bringing a cooler. We did & it was needed to keep what wouldn’t fit. I gave 4 stars for accuracy of description only because the photos made the cabin look much more secluded than it is, which isn’t a big deal except for that was one of the deciding factors for me when choosing where to spend a quite, private weekend with my husband. Since it was freezing outside, it didn’t make much difference, but if it was nice outside, it would have. As the cabin is very close to the main house and wouldn’t have felt very private. Not really a problem, it was just not as I expected from photos and that was actually what we were looking for specifically. So, not really a big deal in general, just pointing that out in case that is what you’re looking for as well. Overall, our visit was great and so was April!

I’ve stayed at a few great places and this place was near or really, at the top of my favorites. April was communicative and even allowed me to check in early. She was so nice but also gave me the privacy that we usually all want. She gave me clear instructions for entering the cabin. The cabin itself was cozy and gorgeous. They spent a lot of time (and probably money) on the details. The pillows and blankets on the bed were nice and not those cheap ones. The bathroom had large, comfortable towels. The TV was easy to use and was set up so that I didn’t need to ask for password for Netflix or anything. Just turn it on and everything works. I could ramble on for a while but I won’t. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Definitely worth the money. I absolutely plan on coming back when there’s availability.
