We had stayed here previously, so we knew what to expect. We made one call to Louise and she answered our question and allowed us to check in a little earlier. Beings it’s an older home a few things could be updated, but everything worked just fine!

Louise was very good to work with. She took all calls and questions with grace and helpful friendliness. The house was very accommodating. There was room to be together and room to spread out. The children took to the place like home. One stated emphatically that he was not going to go home! We had a wonderful experience and will definitely consider it again should the need arise.

The house was even better than the description and pictures. It was a peaceful, perfect place for our family. There was plenty of room. My favorite spot was the library. It’s such a beautiful room, with a fireplace, so cozy and so much history to enjoy. The kitchen was fully stocked. We had everything we needed and more! The house felt very private, plenty of room to roam outside. The beds were very comfortable! The family enjoyed the back porch with the fire pit. We can’t brag on the host and the house enough and hope to stay here again soon!

Very nice home, but needs a thorough cleaning especially kitchen cupboards and bathroom light fixed. Drawers in bedrooms also need cleaning for personal clothes. Loved the well-stocked library and games. Beautiful setting. Perfect for large family groups. Disappointed there was no firewood for the back porch fireplace. So much character and sleeping accommodations! Loved the decor. Was extremely hard to find due to no clear sign or number at street and driveway very hard to discern. Water was too hot coming out of faucets. Hope this helps you, you have a very good potential with this wonderful home. Love the historical info posted in the house. Thank you 😊
