This is a private apartment in a 100-year-old house with a vintage farmhouse design, global boho-chic decor and lots of hi-tech amenities to help you relax and unwind. Electric fireplace, record player, LED ringlight, bathtub, washer/dryer, Keurig & espresso coffee, bluetooth speaker, Roku TV, parking, porch, and fenced yard with fire pit. Breakfast included. 2 blocks from B-Line, city bus, Hopscotch Cafe, Cardinal Spirits and Southern Stone Restaurant. 10 min to downtown. 15 min to campus. The entire two-bedroom apartment is around 550 square feet. The living room includes the dining area. The main bedroom includes a desk area as a dedicated workspace, a closet and a laundry room closet with washer/dryer. The bathroom is en suite off the main bedroom. The second bedroom includes a closet. The small hallway leads to the galley-style kitchen. Front porch faces Rogers St with porch swing and views of limestone McDoel Baptist church. It's a busy street and sidewalk that is great for people-watching!

Nejla let us extend our checkout by 2 hours and responded quickly when we asked. The space was clean and private and perfect for our little getaway! I would definitely suggest this space to friends and will definitely choose this space again when we return!

Great spot! Very clean, well decorated, comfy beds, quiet, close to the IU campus. Nejla was very responsive and made check in easy. I would definitely recommend this place.

We LOVED this little gem! It was so pleasant to be able to walk to Hopscotch Coffee in the mornings and the apartment itself was so cozy. Nejla was incredibly responsive and helpful, and even brought some eggs and yogurt for breakfast. We will be back!

The historic 100-year-old house/triplex is two blocks from the B-Line pedestrian trail, three blocks from Cardinal Spirits distillery, restaurant and cocktail bar, and three blocks from Hopscotch Coffee. It's a very walkable and safe neighborhood at all hours of the day. If you enjoy climbing, try out Hoosier Heights climbing gym inside the lovely limestone McDoel Baptist Church located catty-corner on Rogers St from the house.
Parking - Guests may have up to two regular vehicles parked in the gravel driveway off Allen St.
Bus - The bus stop is one block north, across the street from the McDoel Baptist Church on Rogers St.
Bicycles - Three bicycles for guests are in the locked shed in the backyard. Please ask me for the key to the shed.
Walking/Running/Hiking - B-Line Trail is two blocks east and is a 3-mile paved 12-foot wide walking/running path that connects to 7 miles of unpaved trails including the Rail Trail, Clear Creek Trail and other trails. A great experience for a day hike! Bring sun protection and water. :)

Nejla rhymes with "beige-la" - and don't worry, it's okay if you mispronounce it. :) I have visited 75 countries now, mostly on solo trips, so I have a bit of travel experience myself - that's why I have created this local bnb space in a boutique hotel style. Besides having traveled extensively, I have also lived in Istanbul, Brussels, the UK, California and the Washington DC area - so you may notice any of those cultural influences in my bnb.
