An excellent option for weekends away with golfers, mountain-bikers, trampers, and just those that want to relax... You are just a 3 minute drive from Rotorua city centre and about 10 minutes walk to Rotorua Stadium. Everything is right on your door step - world class mountain-biking as well as walking tracks in the Redwoods. Plus, the house is close to 'Te Puia' geothermal wonderland, along with great cafes and restaurants at the lakefront. You are also just a short drive to the hot pools, Rainbow and Fairy Springs, Skyline Skyrides and the Luge, just to name a few! Your Rotorua escape starts here, welcome to Springfield Rise Lodge! As there is a retaining wall without a barrier and a large drop, all guests should take care in this area due to the risk of falls. The property has a few internal trip hazards including raised floors in different areas of the home, all guests should take care due to the risk of tripping. Please be aware that construction maybe taking place at the front of the property during weekdaysPlease note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. We were a group of 6 friends visiting Rotorua for 5 days. The house was great. There is plenty of space and lots of options to spread out if you want quiet time from the group. There's also plenty of seating for those times when you all want to gather around. The house is located about 3km from the centre of Rotorua, so having your own transport is important (you can get an Uber, but if you're hiring this house it's because there's a group of you, so logistics start to get complicated).
This was a great place for a group of people, plenty of bedrooms and lots of space to gather. Great kitchen and living spaces as well as additional room with ping pong and rec space. The kitchen is modern and and very workable.
We had a great stay and enjoyed having such a spacious home. There were 9 of us and felt like there was room for everyone. We had a bit of trouble with check in but communication was really fast and easy and we got in the house just fine :) We especially enjoyed the spacious lounge and fire place as well as the outdoor deck with the bbq. Overall we had a beautiful stay.
