This Rio Grande house on the hill, overlooking Luquillo and across the road from El Yunque was the perfect place to base our extended family for relaxation and adventure. The house is privately tucked away on a hillside, with excellent local dining options in Erick Pinchos and Terraza Montemar. Quiet local beach recommendations from Chris are 10 minutes away with easy access, and clear-blue water. Making gate opening at El Yunque is a beautiful 15 minute drive up into the mountains. Traveling down to the ferry or boats in Ceiba/Fajardo, or up to San Juan is a quick 30 minute drive or less. All that said, some of our best days with the kids were just enjoying the beautiful pool and view in the serenity of this lovely home. Traveling with young kids isn't always easy, but Chris made our stay effortless with a pack-and-play that was setup for our arrival, high chair, and many floats and toys for the pool. The house was friendly to kids and adults alike! Chris is a fantastic host :)
