Nestled in a Medieval Village mentioned in the Domesday Book, on the plains below the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park. The Cottage offers Luxury accommodation, in Traditional English Country style. Bring your walking boots and explore the countryside or enjoy a dazzling night at the Opera at Glyndebourne. The Cottage is detached, with a wrap around garden & large wood fired hot tub. Village shop on your doorstep and local pub in the next village . A Private chef is available. The cottage is situated in the village of Ripe on the plains of the South downs . Please be aware that our village does not have any public transport links, so you will need a car or bike to get around . We are very doggie friendly and the garden is fully enclosed and road tested by our own escapologist Daisy ! The cottage consists of the main house and and another separate cottage annex next door , which offers a further ground floor bedroom with King size bed and bathroom . This bed can be split into 2 singles if required, but please do give me at least 2 weeks notice . It also has kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities and fridge . Upstairs is a large cinema room with 86 inch television and table football game . The main house has 5 bedrooms, 4 doubles and one single . 3 of the main house bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms . There is a further bathroom which serves the other two bedrooms . One of the main bedrooms in the house is situated on the ground floor with its own ensuite shower room, perfect for guests who cannot manage stairs . Please be aware that this is a large cottage, but the bedrooms are all cottage size, so not vast . But head heights are good and all the rooms are very cosy & comfortable and dressed in a traditional english cottage style . The downstairs areas are open space, with large 35ft lounge and plenty of comfortable seating . The lounge also has a log burner . The lounge leads out onto the garden area and patio which has an outdoor dining table for 10 & private hot tub area . The kitchen is fully equipped and leads off the lounge, there is a full dining area within the kitchen that seats 10 . There is a large rangemaster cooker with double oven and 5 ring hob. Also a good size fridge freezer and additional, separate wine fridge under the island counter . There is also a dishwasher. You will find a pantry cupboard inn the kitchen complete with kettle and L'OR coffee machine that makes both expresso and Cappuchino . There is also a utility room with both washing machine and tumble dryer for guest use and a downstairs loo and coat area . As this is a cottage please note the bed sizes in each room please . There is parking for 3 cars at the cottage , one on the cottage drive and 2 opposite on the little layby. There is also plenty of parking inn the village and no yellow lines .
