Trip from hell, dishonest host Host had loud active construction while we were there. We even asked ahead of time about construction since we were traveling to get away from our own construction, and she flat out lied. Said there would be only “yard work” when really it was banging and power tools BUILDING A DECK onto the wall our headboard was up against. Tried to restart construction multiple times even though Airbnb said to stop. Just totally dishonest. Dishonest pet policy—not pet friendly, after arrival charged us extra pet fees and told us keep our pets off “furniture, rugs, and bed.” How is that pet friendly? No temperature control within unit—you get boiling temperature homeowner set it to, no other choice. Also no separate HVAC so exposure to all household germs, no way to stay covid safe. Unsafe parking space shows multiple paint transfers from vehicles having trouble backing out. Carjacking morning we left. That this was not the worst part of our stay says a lot.

Excellent studio by the lake! Wonderful decor and great ambience. Fantastic location near downtown Columbia. Very friendly and helpful hosts! Loved my stay.

Great stay at this lovely studio on the lake. the sunroom was gorgeous. the view is amazing and neighborhood very quiet and comfortable. great trail nearby for a walk around the lake. very comfortable

This is my review for Donna and for the place. I loved it. Peaceful and quiet, I enjoyed the views of the water, the chatter of the geese, and the many walks to choose from. Location is perfect - everything needed within 10-min drive - even an ice rink! Donna is a woman that really cares about her guests and wants to make sure they are taken care of and happy. She quickly replaced missing items in the kitchen and is even taking action to provide a more chemical-free setting. I was there for a seminar, but I want to go back just for some relaxing time and to write! I had the privilege of encountering other wildlife during my stay, which I wished could have lasted longer. I highly recommend this place. The studio is spacious, the closets are huge, and the kitchen is enjoyable to cook in. Decor is relaxing and tasteful. The porch is so well insulated I was able to enjoy it even on a snowy day. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. It's a place I will return to. Thank you, Donna!
