Ali is an amazing host! The Den is such a beautiful place to stay. It exceeded all expectations and is by far one of the loveliest places we've booked. Waterstock is so gorgeous, super quiet and secluded which is exactly what we were looking for. Ali was amazing in the lead up to our stay, incredibly communicative, helpful and kind. She couldn't do enough for us and kept us updated about when the Den was ready for us to arrive (which was ahead of the check-in time). She provided a wonderful breakfast hamper, treats for our dog, and even got a birthday cake to celebrate my partner's birthday which was such a lovely additional touch. During our stay she was happy to answer any questions we had, gave us lots of local tips and walking suggestions and was generally very lovely and friendly. Would 100% recommend a mini break at The Den and would love to visit again soon. Thank you Ali! X

Ali was a great host! The place is peaceful and quiet, and the space and decor was lovely. Rooms were very clean as well. She provided a snack basket with food, specifically free of gluten for me and my husband. Very thoughtful host!

Beautiful little spot in Waterstock. If we are ever near Oxford we will definitely be staying there again!

We absolutely loved The Den for a quiet, chilled out night away with our two Border Terrier puppies! They even had their own treats left for them!

Nothing was too much trouble for Ali, the breakfast hamper was amazing and even the dogs had their own treats provided. The Den is a comfortable, clean and cosy haven in an area convenient to Oxford and is also within easy reach of loads of National Trust properties if you are a member as we are. We would have no hesitation in booking another stay. Thank you so much Ali.
