Set alongside our beloved family home, in 7 acres of open farmland, this wonderful space offers a welcome retreat from the stresses of everyday life. Worminghall is predominantly a farming village, within easy vehicular access to Oxford and the market town of Thame. Situated on the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire borders, it's the perfect location if you are visiting for a wedding or function nearby, or simply wish to explore the area's many local attractions. Space: the barn sits to the boundary edge of our garden. It is self-contained with it's own entrance, although the garden is shared. On the ground floor, you have a large open-planned reception room (with wood burner and sofa-bed), a dining area with dining for 6 (this can be extended, if required) and a small entrance area with a football table. There is Netflix and BT TV and the barn enjoys its own WIFI. Still on the ground floor, there is a small separate kitchen with large fridge/freezer and slimline dishwasher and Nespresso machine. Just off the kitchen is a good sized shower room with utility area with washing machine. We will provide basic provisions for your stay to include teas, coffee, milk, bread, butter, dishwasher tablets and washing powder and softener. The stairs lead up to a large open plan, galleried bedroom, overlooking the reception room. There is a king-size and a single bed. We list the property for two guests as, whilst we have the additional beds, the sleeping areas are not private. If you require use of the sofa or single bed, although there will be an additional charge of £25 per bed.

We’ve just got back from a beautiful weekend here. We wanted somewhere peaceful, scenic and spacious to enjoy time away for my birthday and that’s exactly what we got! Tracey and Mark are perfect hosts and even left a bottle of Prosecco and a birthday card for me, as well as bringing over a freshly baked loaf of bread which went down very nicely with the sticks of butter waiting for us in the fridge, along with a pint of milk ready for us to enjoy a cuppa on arrival. The barn itself is spacious yet cosy, clean and tidy, and has excellent facilities including a well stocked kitchen. There are some magazines and books, excellent wifi and smart TV. The garden is beautiful and we very much enjoyed seeing and hearing the nearby sheep and listening to the birds. If you’re considering staying here then please do. You won’t regret it. Tip - Thornhill park and ride is 12 mins away and the 400 bus goes straight into the city centre (30mins) for just £5 for two adults. Great value.
Perfect, quiet, peaceful getaway. Easy to find with some really clear instructions. We instantly felt relaxed and at home. Spotlessly clean and everything you need provided. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and well stocked. Little touches like tea bags option, coffee machine and fresh milk and homemade bread. Log burner, comfy sofas with throws meant we could fully relax. Smart TV was a big plus as this is what we mostly watch. Table football was a fun touch. The folder with local info was perfect. We got the park and ride to Oxford which was close by and super cheap. We really felt welcomed and would have felt comfortable approaching Tracey and Mark if we had any questions. Brilliant communication, and checking in couldn't have been easier! Hoping we can come and stay again soon! (or just move in?!!) Thank you!!
This was such a lovely place to stay. Tracey was so friendly and welcoming and brought us some delicious homemade bread in that was still warm! The log fire was very cosy. The local pub was nice to sit outside for a drink in the afternoon and the Blackhorse pub in thame was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed.
Great place and great people. We had a lovely stay here with our six month old baby. Easy to find, and a great location for exploring around the area. Would happily stay again.

The village is quite remote, with one bus service a day. You will need a car! We can recommend a local taxi service if required.
