Such a lovely cabin! It’s our second time returning to this place, and it’s so charming. The morning sun shining through the window while you gaze at the pine trees with a hot mug of coffee is incredible and so peaceful. Don’t get me wrong; this place is old, and that's exactly what makes it perfect for a unique stay. It almost feels like visiting a grandma—something warm, homely, and real. You'll never get this feeling in a brand-new place or a hotel.

Unique air bnb cabin in the woods minutes from hunter mountain! West kill brewing was a nice treat close by. Will be back!

This cabin is a nice place for a weekend from the city to go hiking and be surrounded by trees out of every window. There are plenty of trails & hikes accessible within a short drive and West Kill Brewing, which has great beer plus a food vendor serving daily, is a 5 min drive away. Additionally the property has a great fire pit which we used both nights. The accommodation feels like going back in time in a good way, with original cabin details, vintage furniture and games and a pretty great 80s cassette tape collection. That said, just know that this listing leans more rustic. It’s truly a cabin, which fit the experience we were going for but might catch you off guard if you’re expecting a more “luxury” accommodation in your upstate adventure.

Beautiful cabin, in the perfect location! Just a short drive from the Hunter/West Kill trailhead (and brewery!), and steps from another trailhead up the other side of West Kill. While there are other cabins in sight, we found it private and peaceful here surrounded by the trees. The cabin stayed warm at night with the heater and was very cozy. We'd definitely return!

Eric’s cabin was clean and cozy. It felt private but was close enough to town and restaurants. We loved the porch! Great stay and a great location! Eric was very proactive in his communication. Definitely recommend the brewery down the road.
