This stylish, first-floor apartment is the perfect spot for a dreamy coastal getaway. You’re just a 5 minute walk from the beautiful Porth Beach and a stone’s throw from Newquay - with independent cafès, restaurants and shops all on the doorstep. Not to mention the world-class surf. When you’re not out exploring the coast, settle into your cosy home for movie nights and home-cooked dinners. Dedicated parking for one vehicle is available. Whether you’re wanting to surf, explore beautiful beaches or take long walks - you’re in the right spot. This lovely two bedroom apartment is located on the first floor, with a small balcony perfect for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The local neighbourhood is quiet, yet you’re only a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of Newquay as well as the beach in Porth. Inside, the apartment has been decorated with joyful pops of colour, warm woods and local artwork. The open-plan living room and kitchen are a peaceful spot to unwind after a busy day. Cook delicious homecooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen, before snuggling up on the corner sofa for a movie night on the smart TV. The master bedroom has a double bed, whilst the second room has two singles. Both share a contemporary bathroom with a shower. We welcome one dog with a fee of £20 (we may consider two on special request if they are very small). It is on the condition they are not allowed on the sofa or beds and not left in the property unattended.

You can tell when you walk into the flat that William and his cleaner have gone to some lengths to make the place very presentable. Everything worked. Plenty of kitchen utensils which we used making meals. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet. The location is a bit out of the central part of Newquay but very close to Porth beach.

Lovely stay in a charming little apartment in a great location.
The flat was as described and as seen in the photos. Nice and modern and we couldn't fault the cleanliness on arrival. The location is about a 5 minute walk to Porth beach and about 30 minutes into Newquay at a steady pace, great location for exploring other towns and beaches too. Check in was simple. Communication with the host was great, helpful information was sent prior to arrival and he even messaged to check we arrived ok and all was going well! A great base for a couple or a family with small children, and overall we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is located on a quiet road - a 5-minute walk from Porth Beach and a 20-minute walk to Newquay. Capital of the Cornish surf scene, Newquay and the surrounding areas are known for their fantastic waves. Particularly at Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay. With miles and miles of golden sands, there’s a beach to suit everyone.
Within walking distance, you’ll find a local pub - Mermaid Inn - as well as a boutique shop and coffee house, Roo’s on the Beach. Meanwhile, in Newquay, there are ample cafès, restaurants, bars, pubs and more.
Walkers will love exploring the South West Coast Path, marvelling at the sparkling seas. The cove, Porth Joke, is a real local tip, perfect for grabbing an ice cream or a drink overlooking the water. Further afield, you can explore Padstow, Rock or St Agnes on the north coast. As well as Trevibban Mill vineyard - a hidden gem. Or head south to Falmouth, where you’ll find the beautiful Helford Passage and more.

Whilst a car is handy for exploring the local area, it is not necessary especially as Newquay is so well connected. The local train station has regular trains that run to Exeter, Bristol and London Paddington, then it's just a 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive to the house via taxi. There is also an international airport.
That said, if you bring a vehicle there is a free private parking space for one vehicle. The parking space may be tight for very large vehicles. However, there is free on-street parking.
