Take a break, relax and unwind in this lovely cottage. Stands on its own within its own garden, looking over the amazing Northumbrian coast on one side Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle in clear view, and Cheviot on the other. Within easy reach of local towns and amenities but secluded and private. Beach is walkable or a short drive. Cycling walking or 'bogling' all available. Stewards Cottage is a delightful stand alone cottage situated on the edge of the farm with outstanding views to the sea, Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and the Cheviot Hills. It is an idyllic situation with fields and views as far as the eeye can see and a small secure garden with lawn and a wall surrounding with garden table and chairs to enjoy. Perfect for an al fresco lunch or a nice cool drink ..... or two! Ample parking and entrance as you arrive. Entry by the porch with key from lock safe ( situated on the gate post as you pull in). Downstairs with hall leading to loo/shower/washing machine. Sitting room with log fired stove - logs supplied about 1 bag, with two new and super comfy sofas. The dining/kitchen area to the rear looks out the French windows to the garden area. Upstairs another loo /bathroom. Master bedroom with king size bed also two single rooms. All having top quality white cotton bedlinen and towels. All practical mod-cons are included: Smart TV in living room, wifi throughout, full central heating, coffee machine. High-quality bed linen and towels. We also offer bicycle hire from our sister business Good Times Bicycle Hire, with a discount for guests of this cottage. Good Times is based on our farm (100 metres from the cottage), and offers a range of E-Bikes, mountain bikes and hybrids for adults & kids. National Cycle Route 1 is right on our doorstep, for a stunning day ride from the cottage to Holy Island or into Berwick!

Detached, stone-built cottage for four, set on a working farm with wonderful sea views, close to the beach and just a short drive to Berwick-upon-Tweed. Holy Island, Bamburgh etc. Families and couples will love this.
This lovely stone cottage offers guests the opportunity to holiday on a working arable farm at the coast where you will see the occasional tractor, a few cows and horses in nearby fields, and general farming life, coupled with beautiful views across the fields to nearby Cocklawburn beach and beyond towards Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle. Walk or drive to the sandy beach for a paddle/swim and a picnic in the sand dunes, maybe spot a passing dolphin!. Cheswick and Goswick beaches are nearby too, and the golf course at Goswick offers panoramic coastline views. Drive to nearby Berwick for history, art, theatre, great shopping, pubs, and restaurants. Walk the Lowry Trail and the scenic town walls. Head to Paxton House, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, and Howick Hall.
Access to this neat, stone cottage is through the front door into an inner porch where you can leave your coats and walking boots. Head into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with wonderfully thick walls to find a cosy, relaxed atmosphere with plenty of comfortable seating where you can relax after your days out exploring. Snuggle up in front of the wood burner for a movie night on Smart TV or sit with a book and drift off. When it's time to eat, you have everything you need in the well-equipped kitchen with an electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. There is also a small chest freezer in a cupboard off the hall. There is also a bathroom with a shower cubicle and WC on the ground floor and this houses a useful washer/dryer. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms; a king-size with open storage for your things and two single bedrooms, one with a chest of drawers and the other with a small wardrobe. The family bathroom has a bath and WC.
Outside, there is a gravelled area at the rear of the property and an enclosed, lawned garden at the front with garden furniture where you can sit with your morning coffee to watch the sunrise or dine alfresco and admire the sunsets. At night-time, sit out here to watch for shooting stars in the dark skies. There is private, off-road parking for two cars in the courtyard at the rear of the cottage.
Buses run from Scremerston about a 10min walk. Trains to Edinburgh, London and all main lines from Berwick train station. Airports Edinburgh or Newcastle about equidistant 60 miles. Car has free parking for 2 cars.
