The place was great for 9 guests. We just needed a place to sleep, we were out of the house for a good amount of time. The house was clean and easy access to amenities in the area.

I had to opportunity to stay at John and Andrea’s Air B & B in Orange Park, FL for a recent trip. I traveled with a group of running friends. We needed a base of operations for our weekend fun. We took a side day trip to Orlando to watch the US Olympic Marathon Trials on Saturday and then ran the half or full marathon at Jacksonville’s Donna races on Sunday. In between we prepared our pre-race pasta dinner in the Orange Park home’s kitchen. We even invited three additional running friends, staying nearby, to join us for that meal. The kitchen had what we needed for the preparation and the layout of the home allowed us to comfortably feed all 13 of us. The appliances were all new, or close to it. Having a washer and dryer came in handy after our race, so we didn’t have to pack dirty clothes for the trip home. The layout of the home and bedrooms with both queen and single beds worked perfectly for the make-up of our group. The home was the perfect base of operations for our weekend.

First off John and Andrea are super great about communicating. They are very responsive (and quick) and they definitely care about the quality of your stay. The home was probably better than the pictures. You can immediately tell when you walk in everything has been newly redone. Super cute and very clean. Every room was equipped with large tvs, ceiling fans, and each bed had a towel,washcloth and hand towel laid out. Clean/brand new pillows and bedding. It was very nice to say the least and comfortable. We were super happy and would definitely recommend them. We only stayed for the weekend, but I wish it could have been longer!
