If you want to connect with the ocean and your family this is the place. We spent a month with Trish, Captin Ron, Melvin the fishing pro, his daughter and wife Miley and Cristie and everyone was amazing. Ohh and Anke the best dive master you could ask for. We caught fish, we snorkeled our legs off, and we dove from the boat and the shore when we wanted. Miley helped with the kids, and Trish is accommodating, friendly, helpful, and responsive as your host. Overall the house has what you need, it's all rustic but works well. The local dock is in front of the house, so some people watching and some coming and going are expected. You are secluded but you will see lots of people in and out. No one is of disturbance but this was a little unexpected at first. The ocean and reef are amazing and the more time you spend with your face in the water the more you will see. We saw a lot of great stuff. Everyone was great and we can't say enough about the beach and water and people.

Had a wonderful time at the coral house! Laurence was very responsive and helpful during the booking process. Once booked, we were connected with Trish (property manager). Wow - cannot say enough about how wonderful Trish was! Trish was very communicative leading up to our stay about what to expect - we were so thankful for all of the great information provided, especially given this was our first trip to Utila! She also came by to ensure we had everything we needed while we were there and was so welcoming. The coral house is in a remote area and is perfect for a relaxing getaway. There is wonderful snorkeling just off the dock in front of the house - we saw many eagle rays, octopus, and so many colorful fish and coral. For a fee, arrangements can be made to stock groceries prior to your stay. Highly recommend this as restaurants and stores are not easy to get to unless you are willing to pay for boat transfers ($30-50 roundtrip). Local stores will also deliver (limited selection).

House was perfect for 4 people. The rooms downstairs had a musty smell to them but we were able to use the upstairs bedrooms. Captain Ron was awesome and accommodating. Christie and Melvin’s meals were amazing. We had them cook for us and deliver food one night. Trish did an amazing job with organizing and the food deliver was a great perk. The only thing I wish we new (realized) was that we couldn’t get a boat back any later than 4:30pm unless we wanted to pay $150 one way.

Great week, beautiful home, friendly and well taken care of by Trish. Snorkeling was amazing. One concern was musty smelling basement bedrooms.
