Das Haus ist stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, hat alles, was man braucht (sogar einen Trockner), liegt zentral, so dass man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann, sowie einen sonnigen Sitzplatz im Gärtchen. Villedieu verfügt über alles, was man benötigt (z. B. gleich mehrere Bäcker, Supermärkte, ...) und hat trotz seiner recht wenigen Einwohner ein buntes Leben. Es ist dort einfach bezaubernd. Man kommt von dort gut zu anderen netten Orten und mehreren Stränden; ggf. gibt es sogar einen Bahnhof. David und Michaela antworten sofort und hilfsbereit auf Nachrichten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a splendid time with our two children in this beautiful house in July, enjoyed croissants and patisserie from the local bakery, the pittoresque town of Villedieu, the beaches and the landscape. You do have to pack your raincoat though;)

We stayed at this town house for 2 months when restrictions started to ease during autumn. This lovely home honestly exceeded our expectations and was much larger than we initially anticipated and was very stylish. The house sits on the incline of a hill and the added bonus of your own private terrace overlooking the beautiful town was the icing on the cake (we saw some beautiful sunsets). We cannot recommend this stay enough for those looking for a short term getaway or a long term stay. The town has an abundance of history, with a bell foundry, arts village and copper making workshops, there's deceptively lots to see and do. The River La Seinne makes for beautiful walks around the town and is a wonderful relief from city life. It is only 30 minutes by car from Granville, Vire, Avranches and many other quaint villages worth visiting. Mont Saint Michel is a mere 45 minutes drive as well! David and Michaela were quick to respond to queries, and remained open and happy to answer any when required. Thank you for a fabulous stay!
