The location is super quiet in a secluded wooded area. It’s a beautiful area. The rental unit itself is a walkout basement and the room temperatures are that of a typical basement, chilly. Great for summer, not so much in winter or if you are someone whose internal temperature runs cold or are often cold. Although space heaters are provided, it’s still cooler than is really comfortable. We tripped a circuit breaker in the first two to five minutes of being there so that didn’t help. In full disclosure, this is our second stay here and that didn’t happen to us the last time we stayed here. We noticed it was cool the last time too but it was dismissed due to it being during a deep freeze. The owners are super responsive and nice people. The place is cutely decorated, clean and provides ample space with room to move around. Given there are many extras provided, reflecting the thoughtfulness of the owners.

Thoughtfully stocked with things to keep this freeze baby cozy and comfortable. The space was generous. The bed was comfy. The extra pillows were appreciated! The place was secluded, peaceful, quiet and beautiful. The TV was huge. The greeting party (Minnie the outdoor cat) was friendly and snuggly! We had a lovely and comfortable stay.

Rick and Michelle provided a very cozy and comfortable place for our short get away. We enjoyed the private, wooded location and even saw 7 deer when driving in.
