A spacious house on top of a seaside hillock, offering a stunning view of the village, the sea and mount Pelion. The unique position of the house allows you to enjoy the mesmerizing summer sunsets. The property is located at the village’s southern outskirts. It consists of a 2700 sqm, terraced olive tree field dropping down to the sea and a 200 sqm house built at the top, enjoying a unique, panoramic view of the village, the fields and the sea. This is a two story villa, with large verandas and back yards, seated 21 m above sea level, in East-West direction, facing West. The basement accommodates the sitting-room, the dining-room, the kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a charming rest room with a wooden roof. The 2nd story consists of 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, one bathroom, a small living room and a 80sqm veranda with a spectacular view. All rooms enjoy sea view, apart from one room, which overlooks the olive tree fields. The whole interior is space-generous, following the owners’ belief that rooms crammed with unnecessary furniture never let you relax. The house is literally bathed in the sun all day long, especially during Summer, so all rooms are equipped with ceiling fans. Exterior parking space available.

Amaliapolis or, as it is best known, Mitzela, is a small village resting on the shallows of a sheltering bay, on the west coast of Pagasitikos gulf, amidst a serene landscape of smooth hills, covered with olive trees.
Once a bustling commercial little harbor, the place was residence of sailing boat owners, trading goods all through Aegean sea and beyond. Today, with its history forgotten, it could be described as a small fishing village, mostly untouched by the touristic industry and rarely found/ listed on mainstream touristic guides. Mitzela is now what Greece had been several decades ago: beautiful, pure and simple, with a sense of great tranquility, almost defying the rules of time and the routine of the modern everyday-life.
Apart from the peak of summer holidays, i.e. the first 15 to 20 days of August when the village becomes relatively crowded, Mitzela is peaceful and quiet throughout the rest of the year. Especially during May, June, July, September and October, the sun is bright and warm and the environment is soft and serene; an ideal time for body and soul relaxation. Pagasitikos gulf is well known for its relatively warm waters, so going swimming usually starts from early May and is much enjoyed in the crystal-clear sea, well into late October.
The property is located next to the central beach of Mitzela (50m walk), where one can enjoy refreshing beverages and other services at the beach bar. It is also in walking distance (150m walk) from the central square of the village and the quaint and traditional tavernas, where you can enjoy ouzo and tsipouro with palatable “meze” and traditional dishes.
• The Anchialos airport is only half an hour away.
• The navigation around the village is simple and easy.
• There is a pre-arranged Taxi service available at the village square.
• There are dirt roads that lead to small, isolated beaches.

• It is possible to travel to Volos and Mt. Pelion, either by KTEL bus which makes a stop at the village, or by car.
• The famous Meteora monasteries in Kalambaka are only 2 hrs away by car.
