This is home was so comfortable on orcas island and with stunning views from every window. The home was cozy and had everything we need. The island is so cute and fun to explore, so many cute shops. The host quickly responded when we messaged them. We saw seals, bald eagles, orcas and otters all from the backyard. And the little beach was just a 5 min walk from the house and was so fun to explore. Having a gated home added that extra sense of security as well. Will definitely be staying here again in the future. Thank you for having such a great home we truly loved it.
The house was nice. Very clean. The view was stunning and the location near town was great. The only thing to be aware of is: no shoes inside and no food/drink upstairs.
Great location, clean and well equipped home
The cute house was in a good location and nicely styled. Some things I wish I knew: -There is a gate and you have to look for the boxes to open/close. It was dark and hard to find when we arrived. Could have been explained in the check-in instructions. -No beach access unless you want to walk down the road. It’s very small. Much larger beach access if you stay by the downtown area. -Cushions for chairs outside aren’t available until May. This wasn’t communicated prior to booking. -Firepit won’t work until May. Also not communicated prior to booking. In the instructions book, it also says you can’t make s’mores on firepit when it works. Worth knowing. -Mattresses weren’t very comfortable but the view made up for it. -A lot of ants in the bunk bed room. Killed about 15 of them per day.
A lovely house with a spectacular location. Wow what a view!!! Easy access to Eastsound and central for making our way to all parts of the island. Beach down the road is a great spot for sunset! We were disappointed to learn, post booking (for the fire pit) and arrival (for the cushions) that outdoor cushions and the outdoor fire pit are not available until May. It was a beautiful March week when we visited and we wished we had access to both of these amenities. Communication with Vacasa was inconsistent and not as helpful as I would have hoped.
