Ladies, bring your friends, bring your men, or bring your family, come and relax at the lake. This RV Cottage is surrounded by the Richland-Chambers Reservoir, with water views at the front and back. Fish right off the dock or cool off in the lake. The dock has mooring poles and bumpers for boats. It is a great place to be while others are at fishing tournaments. Come experience some wonderful sunrises and sunsets! Our RV cottage is happily named the Lofty Lark. The Lofty Lark is similar to a shotgun style home, only 11 feet wide but long, with site lines straight through the house. It has 399 squ. feet of living space downstairs. We've extended the living space by going upwards with two lofts and outwards with back and front porches. The Lofty Lark RV cottage was designed with lots of windows to bring the lake, from all sides, into view. Porches on the front and back make great places to catch amazing sunrises and sunsets. The Lofty Lark RV Cottage has three queen beds: one downstairs and two queen beds upstairs in two separate lofts. Lofts are 4 ft at height and accessed via steep stairs. A large bathroom with plenty of dressing space along with a 3'x5' foot shower. (no tub) Waterheater is RV sized, not house sized, so plan showers accordingly. The kitchen has a full sized refridgerator, microwave, and stove/oven. The dishwasher is only 18 inches wide... small but mighty!

I stayed here with a few friends and loved it! The porch was one of our favorite places to hang out because it was so relaxing and comfortable. The bathroom was so clean and had everything you could possibly need. We all had plenty of room to sleep and had good night’s sleep.
Had a great stay at Nancy’s place on Richland Chambers Lake. You’re right next to the water. A great place for fishing, playing in the lake, or relaxing and enjoying sunrises and sunsets. Recommended!
Nancy’s place is beautiful & one of the best well-stocked airbnbs (with thoughtful touches everywhere) that we’ve ever stayed in! Our only issue was that upon arriving the air conditioning unit upstairs (where two of the sleeping areas are) wasn’t working. We tried turning them down a little bit since we weren’t sure if it was hot upstairs due to it being a warm day. That evening, we confirmed that the upstairs one was just blowing warm air (the other two downstairs were cooling well). We tried troubleshooting with Nancy via messaging (she was very responsive & sent a neighbor over to try & help) but alas it was broken. My confusion/disappointment was she had sent a message before we arrived about someone having just moved ac units around something, making me wonder if she knew there was an issue prior to our arrival. Suggested we open the windows, no discount offered. We turned the other 2 down a lot to help offset heat & she tried saying that was why it wasn’t working the next am.
Stayed for 1 night. Nancy was very responsive and accommodating to my requests. Beautiful lake-front view! Perfect location for the solar eclipse! Loved all the nice touches in Nancy's "tiny home". Would definitely consider staying here again when I'm back in the area. Thank you Nancy!

Our RV cottage is located at Peninsula Point RV Resort in Kerens, TX. It sits at the point which gives us fantastic views of the lake from many points of view. It is a very quiet and peaceful place to be.
The resort is located 20 miles outside of Corsicana TX, 12 miles to Kerens, or 38 miles to Palestine (approximately). it would be best to bring your groceries with you.
