Great location for teens who can walk around town, check out the docks, the jetty, the museum, the candy store. They loved the pool table and darts and the rec room was well suited for pre and post beach. The front room and back room are lovely with light, the middle is a bit muddled but functional, the shower is wonderful, beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything. We were worried it might be loud or too active being right on the road but it’s super chill, and there is a rustic lil bbq area behind the house that’s a bit more private. This stay was perfect for our teenage clam dig weekend.

The location was great, their responding time was okay. The house was smaller than expected and didn’t comfortably fit the five adults and child we had (two tiny rooms with beds, the living room had a small bed, and an oversized chair with a pull out for a bed). It’s probably better for 4 people, max. The refrigerator was leaking (which I did let them know about and they were on top of the response), dishes were dirty, some of the towels and washcloths were dirty and stained, the dishes on the shelves were oily with a thick layer of dust coating them, old food on pans/silverware, and there were drips of something on the walls. Basically, there was an obvious lack of cleaning done prior to our arrival (for who knows how long). The barbecues in back had mold all over them. It wasn’t pleasant, because it was dirty, stuffy, and uncomfortable, unfortunately. I was hopeful this would have been better than a hotel, especially for the price. Just a bummer

The location was perfect, but customer service was lacking. All outlets in the bedroom were blocked except for one near the ceiling near the door, which was too far away for my brother-in-law's oxygen machine to be pluged in. The porch light was out, and my partially sighted sister fell as a result. The space was nice, but the lockbox was jammed, and getting in touch with the host was difficult at best. "Canned" text messages were generally sent, with no location specific information, and while we were promised that local staff would be getting back to us via phone, we never received a call. The shower was VERY accessible, with sturdy grab bars, and the beds were comfortable, but the lack of outlets in the bedroom was not good for anyone with a C-pap or oxygen. Great place, so long as you don't need customer service!

This property is a fantastic deal and well located to enjoy all that the area has to offer. If you're there for a fishing trip you can walk to any of the charter offices in just a few minutes. It easily accommodated all 6 of us.

Nice place
