Wonderful location and house, I wish we could have stayed much longer. Beautiful property, very peaceful and spacious. The only two issues were that the clawfoot bathtub was dirty and had hair in it and we had asked in advance if there were life vests on site to which they replied no, but they were on site.
Wonderful, quiet home for a few nights away
Would not recommend. Poorly maintained and poorly cleaned. The whole place is cluttered, uncared for and utterly unwelcoming. Vacasa was not helpful nor considerate in anyway. Poor quality: the beds - hard as a rock with cheap pillows and linens. The downstairs bed had a spring poking up! The whole downstairs floor smelled like the thick brown 60s carpet it was covered in and was dark with creaky stubborn doors. Old furniture couches feel like years of dust in them. Owners shoes and belongings taking up so much space. Didn't work: electrical outlets in the kitchen island, multiple wall outlets, the flashlight provided, the bathroom door doesn't shut all the way (sucks for privacy!!), the blinds in the upstairs bedrooms couldn't be lowered because the string was tied and crusty knots etc Dirty: bathtub was stained from rust and yellow liquid, didn't want to get in. Cookware, utensils, glasses were dirty. Lots of crumbs & dust underneath furniture - needs a vacuuming badly.
This was a nice place to stay although there are a few things to mention. There are two separate rental properties using the same driveway/beach. This wasn’t an issue for us but might have been depending on who was staying in the other property. The beach is a shared beach - there isn’t a significant amount of room to walk up and down due to private property signs on one side and brush on another side. The beds were extremely firm/hard. Someone who needs or prefers a softer mattress will notice how stiff the beds are. Not necessarily a bad thing, just something to mention. Otherwise, the views were great and the house was very pleasant to spend a weekend in.
Beautiful house and setting. Perfect for a girl's trip with lots of food, great conversations, and a relaxing fire by the water.
