great amazing view and a fantastic location recommend giving it a stay but parking is difficult and small even for my corolla

The good- the location! The little spit of land that the house is on provides for amazing views & a nice little walk down to the public park/beach. Vacasa management team communicated efficiently (do know that you are communicating with AI until someone takes over and it’s all handled through text). Directions for finding and entering were flawless and overall, it was a charming way to spend a few days. The bad- as other reviews mentioned, it was dirty. It is managed by Vacasa, but the owners need to demand that new cleaners are hired. There was dog hair in the bathtub that made taking a bath unappealing and one bed had sheets that not been changed after their previous guests. Sheets were delivered the next day, but were for the wrong size bed. No additional sheets were brought. FYI- There isn’t central heat, so prepare to be cold! The wall and space heaters work well, but bring layers while they heat up. Park parallel alongside the front of the house. No early check-in allowed.

This is a beautiful location. It is within walking distance of Fay Bainbridge Park/beach. The water comes right up under the deck of the house at high tide. There is very limited space outside on deck & around the house. There is a canoe & rowboat for use pulled up by the house, but it is difficult to launch except at high tide. (The picture showed docks, but they belong to other homes). The kitchen is well stocked, but general decor is dated. There is an Asian flair…no mirrors in bedrooms, twin beds are low (if anyone has joint issues!), and TV sits low covering the fireplace. There IS a stairway up to a flat roof, so there is space for a higher view & some chairs if one wishes to take any up.

The location is absolutely fantastic. The place is extremely comfortable, great location to explore Bainbridge Island and surrounding areas and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The other reviews are accurate. The house needs a facelift. Stained carpets. Outdated furniture. Ants infesting the kitchen (host unhelpful/useless). We were unable to use the kitchen due to the ants. We ended up having to eat out more than expected/planned for. The host did nothing to resolve the ants. Shower curtain was moldy. Bed spread was stained. Kitchen had food scraps from previous tenants. This house/host is lacking attention. The beautiful location is its saving grace and even that can only go so far.
