Comfortable and welcoming. Perfect for a visit to see family and bring our dog.
The house was ok and had a nice backyard. However, we were looking forward to using the washer and dryer. It was onsite but could not be used. The heat in the house was wonky. The bedrooms had heat but the living room and kitchen did not. The master bath also did not have heat at all. Some of the dishes were not clean enough to eat off of and some of the glasses had lipstick on them. We have never given a bad rating for any Airbnb we have stayed in. We traveled 3600 miles over the course of 3 days and expected to have heat and washer and dryer.
This was perfect for visiting our family for Christmas. I wish we'd had more time to explore the area with my daughter so she could see the park, but maybe in the summer. I spent a lot of time growing up hiking around Cranberry Lake, the park, and up to Goose Rock. This is definitely a great place to take advantage of hiking Deception Pass Park. Even though it was cold, my husband and I did manage to light a fire outside and briefly enjoy the natural surroundings. It was well worth the effort.
It was a fine house, no washer, no dryer, no dishwasher even though it’s in the photos. Heating in main living area is with portable heater. Bathrooms good, beds clean. Big yard, could use a little landscaping maintenance to keep stickers off house. 3/5 stars not special, not bad, overall average.
This place was a very lovely home and it was nice how close we were to everything we wanted to do in the area. The location was cozy and had everything we needed. The only thing that stood out were the dishes were pretty dirty upon arrival, (greasy silverware/dirty pots and pans) we re-washed and scrubbed most of them before using anything. We had read the reviews prior and also noticed a couple mice during our stay, didn’t bother us too much just something to be aware of. Overall it was very functional if anyone in your family is disabled and easy to get around, very lovely views outside and still really enjoyed our stay!
