Beautiful farm for families and adult friends who want to enjoy peace and beautiful surroundings. Located on an island 8.5 km from Amsterdam central, 13 minutes by bus (bus stop 5 minutes walk) Surrounded by water and meadows, One of the most beautiful locations around Amsterdam. The farm is completely authentic, the furnishings date from the 1970s. The mattresses, beds and refrigerator are new. But don't expect luxury, imagine yourself in the 1970s and enjoy this unique experience. The farmhouse has the living area at the front with a large kitchen, sitting room and bedroom. the bedroom has a double bed and a box bed. On the second floor there is a spacious bedroom with 2 beds, 1 double and 1 single. Furthermore, the farm contains several large rooms of 150 m2 and a large hay barn. At the back of the stable there are 2 horses Bart and Frits who are cared for daily.

Booked this place last minute as the BNB we were staying at turned out unsuitable for my elderly mother. Boy, did we hit the jackpot. Traveling with three other adults and two dogs, this place was a dream to find. Very spacious on the ground floor and most of amenities were located there as well, so my mother didn’t need to climb stairs. Our dogs were able to roam in the house and they were kind enough to trust us with leaving them alone in the house. There’s an area where there can stay comfortably if you want to travel without them. The parking is iffy tho. They are proactive and send the information in advance but we still got it wrong at first because there are multiple houses matching the number. You just got to pay attention. The neighborhood is so peaceful and the neighbors are incredibly friendly. We absolutely loved our stay here and are wishing to go back one day.
Etwas abgelegen aber schöne ruhige Gegend. Anfangs etwas schwer zu finden, allerdings kannten wir uns auch nicht aus in Amsterdam und waren erst recht spät vor Ort, wenn man erstmal mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zurecht kommt, ist es gar nicht so schwer. Die Bushaltestelle ist in der nähe vom Haus und es fahren regelmäßig Busse richtung zentrum. Als Gastgeber ist Sebastian erstklassig, er hat uns im Vorfeld gut beraten. Das Haus ansich ist schön, hier und da ein paar mäkel aber ansonsten gut.
Our family had a wonderful and fun stay at this beautiful house. It was filled with surprises (such as the amazing game rooms and ponies).The rooms were very comfortable and homily. Lots of wonderful memories were made here. We will love to come back to this amazing house.
