visited the dancing mountain for a short getaway. the place is sure very homy, suuuper complete kitchen applience, nice&pleasant fragrance, the ambience is peace&quite, the architecture just left me in awe 🤩 met Eva there, also super kind and patient. had such a great getaway.

Our third time staying here! Big space, big personality. Well equipped, serene, close proximity to major foods and places in town. Done viewing Salatiga, then just get 3 days doing nothing in Dancing House is a bliss. View from the lounge was astonishing! Friendly and attentive host, thank you Mbak Eva and Mbak Esther for the hospitality. Salatiga levels up their style in such short time! Would love to return.

We arrived at Dancing Mountain House around 4pm and had a warm welcome from mbak Sandra and mbak Eva and a cup of ginger tea. Mbak Vanya, the manager of the house also texted me asking what do we want for tomorrow breakfast and offer us if maybe we want to buy fresh milk for only 10K/L. You will get an options of Indonesian breakfast, plus bread and jam. Coffee and tea always ready in the kitchen There are a liquid soap, towels, gas water heater and scent diffuser in the room. I found Salatiga 22C temperature is quite cool without AC. Our room has a tub and also shower. And surprisingly, no mosquitoes. You can park your car inside the villa. The villa her self is super amazing. Surrounded by tress, so you can hear 24/7 nature sounds, but only 10 minutes to the down town. There’s a beautiful cafe near the villa, if you like to purpose your love one to be your bride. We were so lucky, pak Budi Pradono, Dancing Mountain House architect (also one of the owner), with his staff and his sister were there because of their projects in Salatiga at that time, so we can hear their stories about the house. The house has 5 rooms, huge kitchen, big dining table, lazy couch and library. Mbak Kirei/Sandra doesn’t live in the house. She stop by when we were there and she is an amazing host. She can give you suggestions where to find what you looking for or Salatiga’s best spots to hang out If you want combine your vacation with lay like broccoli in the villa and sometimes go downtown or see sunset at Kopeng, Dancing Mountain House is a perfect one Btw, this is our 1st trip just the two of us after 30 years of marriage. Thank you so much Mbak Kirei and team for having us in your villa !
