The place is called Iroc and is close to the airport. Access to Victoria Falls is by own vehicle or taxi. Taxi's are easily obtained if asked for. There are accommodation options at Iroc - Rooms and a chalet. Rooms were fine, clean, spacious and comfortable. The failure of the rains meant that the gardens were struggling. The grounds were well laid out and pleasant. A 4 bedroom chalet, with self catering options, that overlooks a scenic valley was offered and accepted. It is currently being finished with several raw edges remaining but was very habitable as it is. The chalet however was unique. I enjoyed a night on my own there. Big open windows overlooking a valley. No threats from animals. A cooked breakfast was supplied me by the staff there too. As it was Good Friday there was an air of celebration/recognition. The two staff and I sat and shared life for a short period of time.
