A wonderful getaway spot! Tim and Marion were wonderful hosts! The location of the cabin was perfect! We were able to explore the busier tourist spots but come back to relax. Our best days were relaxing on the deck listening to the loons. Cabin was impeccably clean, well stocked and comfortable from the moment we entered. We look forward to returning!

I agree with others who said Tim and his wife are lovely people. They met us upon arrival and showed us around. The cottage has a lot to offer with plenty of beds, bedding, window ACs, full kitchen, etc. There are books and games. The porch that overlooks the lake is nice and it was really great to sit out there (it was not buggy like I thought it might be in Maine). The scenery was awesome. The bathroom is located directly across from the downstairs bedroom and there was plenty of towels. The cottage is rustic — the stairs and floors creak (I’m an early riser and felt like I made a lot of noise). The road noise can be loud and there is no paved parking for cabin #1… however, those things are small compared to being in a nice cottage on a beautiful lake.

Tim was an excellent host. I grew up in this area and was looking for a lakeside cabin to vacation in. I couldn't have made a better choice. Everything I needed was there. Loved the loons swimming by and calling every day.
