Welcome to The Camptons Cottage! Spending time at a stylish, fully renovated cottage can be a great way to have fun and create lasting memories. Whether it’s soaking in the HotTub, enjoying backyard, playing games, having a barbecue, or simply relaxing together. This is pet friendly house (only one pet allowed per stay). Thank you! This is a perfect space for a family or couples to enjoy. This house is a place to relax! Yet, when you need to work, reliable high-speed WiFi is available. Each bedroom is a dreamy escape featuring comfortable beds with premium bedding and equipped with Roku HDTVs. TV Cable service is not available. Kitchen is well stocked with almost everything you need when cooking! We are surrounded by some of the most spectacular hiking trails and waterfalls in the Catskills! Each room is equipped with AC/Heating units. Maximum allowed heat temperature must be set to 80F. If heat is exceeded maximum allowed temperature, the system can start malfunctioning. When heaters are operating, windows should not be open. Propane living room fireplace should be used under strict adult supervision and no kids should be allowed near it at any time when it’s ON. Also Metal screen should always be covering fireplace area. Use controller at the bottom right of the fireplace to switch it ON. Never leave fireplace ON when no one in the living room or at the house. Never put any paper or any other objects into fireplace. Make sure to turn it OFF after use. 6 person HotTub is located right next to the deck area, where you can soak up and reconnect with family and friends. Grab a glass of wine and enjoy those cool nights with cracking sound of burning wood by the fire pit! Solar rope lights scattered throughout the property add a romantic flare. Wood burning barrel sauna sits at the back of the property and is available for use, just bring your own kindling, fire wood and fire starter! (All this can be pickup at the near by Sunoco gas station in Tannersville). STRICT HOUSE RULES: 1. Safety - Never leave kids unattended inside or outside of the house. 2. Check in after 4pm. Check out before 10am. 3. Fire - No candle allowed in the house. No smoking. Propain Fireplace should not be operating for more than an 2 hours at a time. Don’t through anything into the fireplace. Never remove batteries from the fire detectors. Never leave outdoor fire pit or fireplace with open flame unattended. 4. Respect - Outside quite hours 10pm - 8am 5. Door and windows should be shut to avoid any insects getting into the house. 6. Occupancy - Only registered guests are allowed on the property. If more than booked number of guests show up to the house, that stay would be terminated without refund. 7. This is pet friendly house (only one pets allowed per stay for an additional fee when you make reservation.) Wood burning Sauna use is complimentary - just bring your own fire-starter stick, kindling and fire wood (all which can be picked up at the near by Sunoco gas station in Tannersville). Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to assist! Sauna USE/SAFETY Instructions - IMPORTANT : Never burn any type of paper inside the stove. To operate wood burning sauna you may only use small fire-starter stick, dried kindling and firewood. Do not use sauna after dusk. 1. Place kindling wood sticks inside the stove leaving a gap in the middle for fire-starter. 2. Fire up both ends of the fire-starter stick and carefully place it between kindling sticks inside the stove. 3. Be careful of a burning fire-starter add more kindling wood on top of it. 4. Once kindling wood starts to burn, add larger firewood lugs, and continue adding more as they burn down, in order to reach desired temperature. IMPORTANT: Please remember to close the stove glass door tightly, in order to avoid any smoke escaping from inside the stove into the sauna. EXIT Sauna immediately if you notice any smoke filling inside the sauna. Air it out properly by keeping the entrance door open, before going back in. IMPORTANT: The cottage is located in a residential area with well respected neighbors, therefore outside quite time is required after 10pm. While the home is somewhat private, DO NOT RENT if you intend to have any kind of parties or loud gatherings. If you don’t follow above requirements, it would be reported to Airbnb team and your stay will be terminated.
