Enjoyed my stay with family
House was very clean and well maintained. Hard to find the first day we arrived due to it being off the road. Overall was a great stay!
First I want to say a huge thank you to the amazing guest contact for mailing back our keys after we left them at the house. The house was a great meeting place for our friends and the kids. The big yard space was great for them to play and the hot tub was a great bonus!
This house is the perfect blend of a 19th century PA farmhouse and modern conveniences. The owner has taken great care to maintain the integrity of the history of the house and barn while keeping people comfortable. We were a group of 11 adults, 2 preschoolers, & 1 toddler and couldn’t believe how at home we felt for our family weekend. The owner is very responsive to questions about the house. (The house manual contains Elam-the-Owner’s contact info.) Perhaps the most remarkable thing was Evolve’s response to a notable discrepancy between the listing and something we encountered concerning our safety. (It is my understanding the listing has been corrected, so it shouldn’t be an issue for future renters.) They thoughtfully read my account of the incident and tried to stay in touch about it during and after the stay. Today is 4 days after we left and Evolve has closed the incident today with an appropriate and generous response. Be sure to keep communicating with them!
