My family of four absolutely loved our stay. This house is beautiful and comfortable, with incredible views of Lake Michigan. The house is very usable and set up perfectly for many scenarios. It's perfect for a family getaway, muliti-family trip, girls trip, or a peaceful retreat. I am already planning all of these! The galley kitchen is a pleasure to cook in and is larger than it appears in the photos. We loved sitting on the back deck and the view from the back bedroom is spectacular. Comfy beds and good showers too- two things often missing in rentals!! The jewel of this property though is the semi private beach. It's a short and pretty wooded walk from the house, but one could also drive down to drop off picnic supplies or folks who aren't able to walk down. The beach was quiet and peaceful every time we visited, with clean sand, lots of good rock hunting, and nice shallow swimming. Highly recommend.

Really cute place close to the water! It’s clear the whole space was renovated and very well decorated. The host was communicative and flexible. Check in/out was easy. The only things we ran into were bugs inside (ants, mosquitoes getting around the screen, I think). That said, when I told the host about it they offered to drop off some ant bait to remedy the situation. Also, we wanted to grill but there wasn’t any charcoal or grilling utensils on site, so we had to go purchase our own. Other than that, the house had everything we needed and was a great space for my family over the weekend!

Setting is a magnificent representation of the beauty in Northern Michigan. The cottage is in the treetops looking out over the trees and majestic Lake Michigan. Location is actually a 25 minute drive to Harbor Springs. More remote than expected. Automatic door lock appeared to have limited battery power. Not able to reach management by phone about the concern. No cell service at the location. WI FI was effective for internet use. Overall a delightful experience

Absolutely stunning location. Definitely worth visiting. Close to Cross Creek Village, have to check out Legs Inn. Close to downtown Harbor Springs as well. Super cool telescope to look through. So happy we went.

Although told the cottage would be unlocked it was locked and we couldn't get in after a long travel day. Took about an hour to get it straightened out.
