Very cozy and spacious house, friendly and promptly responding host, very close to Michigan Lake beach. Perfect for family stay with kids and grandparents.

Lovely two weeks at Peter’s with our extended family. We have a 15 month old and Peter’s house had everything we needed for baby: toys, towels, silverware, high chair+ crib. It was a comfortable house with lots of amenities for all ages. Just a minute walk to the beach path. Peter was also very responsive and helpful when needed. We would definitely stay again!

The house was lovely, with many things for the kids to do. We enjoyed the fire pit and the toys. It was great having the outdoor shower so the kids did not bring the sand from the beach into the house. House was a little far from major attractions but the drives were very beautiful.

We had an amazing time at this property. The proximity to the beach, the incredible main bedroom suite, and access to beach chairs, umbrellas, and other amenities made this a standout trip thatthe kids keep talking about (“i want to go back to the beach house!”). The hosts were gracious, and so helpful when we accidentally left behind some beloved items from the kids. Thank you for welcoming us to your wonderful home!

Our family of 8 ( ranging in ages from 80 to 12 years old) all found something (or many things!) we loved about Peter’s place. The top thing for all of us was the extremely short walk to the beach. Whether it was to play in the sand and waves or just sit in a beach chair and watch the boats go by, we all found a little bit of peace on the shore of Lake Michigan. The house itself is the perfect size for a large group - so many options for sleeping arrangements and plenty of bathrooms. And the amenities - wow! Peter has thought of everything - from bikes to beach chairs, life vests, and kayaks and so much more for outdoor fun...and for the inside of the home, I've never stayed in such a well-stocked kitchen, and there were plenty of towels, toilet paper, and hand soap - and so many toys and board games for all ages! We hope to stay at this little piece of heaven next summer. Thanks so much again, Peter, for letting us stay at your beautiful home!
