Brand new appliances and rattan furniture create an open, light, tropical vibe. The condo features a new kitchen, new bathroom, and new beds, and features hand-painted oil sea life paintings done by the unit's original owner. Situated among Mauna Kai's beautifully landscaped tropical garden, this space will make you feel right at home. The unit has everything you need, high-speed internet and Netflix included. A full kitchen and a queen size bed make this a great place for honeymooners or solo travelers for your time in Hawaii. ~~~~Outdoor space~~~~ Enjoy garden views and mountain glimpses from the first floor lanai, stroll the tropical gardens around the complex, or take a dip in the pool to cool off and relax. We really appreciated the location most of all. There were great food options and a grocery store you could walk too. Also the local beach had a bit of a hill to descend or climb on the way back, but it was well worth it. We really appreciated the beach stuff they had as we had a great day at the beach. We also found the place to be very clean and well kept. A few other comments have highlighted this but we had issues with noise. 1. There are chickens all over island from what we saw but we were woken up 3 nights in a row by a rooster at about 3am and all through morning. 2. Upstairs unit was late to bed early to rise and as a result we dealt with a good bit of noise when trying to sleep. 3. Upstairs unit did laundry around 11pm again super loud in bedroom and made it hard to sleep. Other than that the A/C didn’t really make it to bedroom so we slept hot. Was hoping it would cool the entire apartment, as it was a big selling point for us.
Unit is what I would describe as "funky", could use to replace the noisy one speed fans, bed and pillows. Furniture has a slight feeling of dirty on them. It was as host mentioned, very noisy when there are guests upstairs in the other rental, if you can rent the upstairs unit do so. Not a place we felt we could really "settle into". Sorry, just being honest about our experience, could be much improved doing the above updates.
Great air bnb! Had everything we needed, great location and nice and clean. Only downside was the noise, the neighbours upstairs were very loud during the night but of course this isn’t the hosts fault! Would highly recommend but maybe bring ear plugs!
Loved our stay at Allison’s place. Impeccably tidy, fully renovated, equipped w all that one would want for a hawaii stay near the beach. Appreciated the quality kitchenwares and comfortable bedding. Spent many mornings chillin on the lanai and felt very at home. Very responsible host too! only negative was the noise from the upstairs unit - you can hear every flush, footstep, use of her sink, and it was sadly LOUD from the bedroom.
We had a great stay here! Perfect place to make meals in the evenings and relax in the mornings. Everything was as pictured, and it was a beautiful place to be.

This is a quiet resort community, offering lots to do for visitors, but a very quiet, peaceful ambiance. A short walk down a rugged dirt path takes you to Anini Beach, a north shore gem that is great for snorkeling and light on traffic because of the steep terrain adjacent. Within Princeville, the Makai Golf Club is a world-class course with unparalleled views from atop the ocean bluffs overlooking Hanalei Bay. The nearby hotels offer restaurants and bars with stunning views, and Princeville Center is local gem with Tiki Aniki Hawaiian Food and the trendy Mr. G's restaurant for casual dining. Just down the road, Hanalei Bay surfing is among the best in Kauai. Kayaking, stand-up paddle-boarding, and hiking tours are all right around the corner.
In Kauai, a car might not be essential, given the laid back lifestyle many are seeking, but it is certainly the most convenient way to see the island. Princeville is about 45 mins north of the airport, so a car will be your best bet.
