This the 2nd time we stayed at Hanalei bay resort. The location is beautiful with nice pool. The unit is very dated and cluttered. These are the issues we observed: 1. Refrigerator leaked water inside and on the floor for the full stay. (7nights). We had 2 towels under the refrigerator 2. Shower had no pressure. Bathrooms are old and all fixtures seem 30+yr old 3. The bed made noise every time you moved that we couldn’t sleep 4. The kitchen is full of so much clutter and unnecessary stuff. No matching glassware or silverware. This unit should be renting for half the price or the owner needs to spend some money and upgrades We have units we rent on Airbnb and understand challenges of renting. We also rent Airbnb everywhere we travel in the world. This was one of the worst unit and vacasa didn’t do much rather than giving $300 credit that we didn’t even ask for. Please don’t rent this unit if you are being charged more than $300/night. Rent directly from the resort instead.

Comfy beds! Great for families! The Airbnb even had board games and beach chairs! Prefect location for all north shore access.

Great place to stay! Beautiful views from the patios and friendly hosts. I highly recommend it and hope to be back again!

Hanalei Bay resort is a fantastic place to vacation. Do not rent this unit if you want to stay at this great resort. You can rent much nicer places directly through the hotel or through other owners. This place is outdated and completely cluttered. There was nowhere to put our groceries because every kitchen cabinet was jammed full of things. Nightstand drawers had random items, dressers had random items. We struggled to find places to unpack our belongings. There are fake plants everywhere and Random furniture that makes the space crowded. The unit had a terrible odor. The only good thing about it was the view. If you want to stay at Hanalei Bay resort, I highly recommend it, but don’t rent this unit.
