Great location! Having children with us the park, pickle ball courts and bocce ball courts are right across the road. We were able to set up our croquet set only 100’ from the deck. The road is actually to the boat launch which was very convenient as well.

Brad's home has been recently renovated and is centrally located to the LACC Rec Area. Furnishings are simple, but room sizes are generous. However, we were distinctly uncomfortable and ended our stay early. The main issue is that the house is just feet from the road that runs through the rec area with tennis courts, playground, etc. That's potentially a positive, but the wall of windows in the living room (seen in pictures) is completely without window coverings. There is nowhere you relax and not be seen. You cannot even walk from the bedroom to the bathroom or be in the upstairs loft bedroom without being on display, especially at night. For $450/night, we need curtains. The unease is furthered by sound carrying throughout the sparsely furnished house, and hot water/hvac are in a closet 2-feet from the downstairs bed. When we raised our concerns, Brad was confrontational. The home has potential but needs adjustments, as does the host's interaction with guests.

great house, great family location near recreation area and the beach. house is beautiful and well stocked. lake almanor is amazing and beach is so close. was high 80s and sunny mid Aug.

We are a regular Airbnb travelers and would rate Brad and Megan’s place as one of the nicest of all the places we have stayed. You can feel all of the love and hard work that went into building this home. The place was clean, modern, and practically brand new. You can't beat the location - merely steps from the lake/beach and the clubhouse. There is so much to do between the water activities and the clubhouse sports (pickle ball, badminton, tennis, ...) - we never ran out of ideas, only time :) Beds were comfortable, all of the linens were spotless! Communication was great too - Brad and Megan were very responsive. We would highly recommend this beautiful home for a vacation.
