Marlen is an outstanding host. The house is very clean and had what we needed in the kitchen. She answered my questions right away. I wasn't familiar with the app process to get inside the house but the instructions were clear. Don't close the front door and go outside without your phone. A market, deli, bagels and coffee are a block away. 2 bathrooms, on 2nd floor and floor below the main level, were all we needed. Easy checkout.

The house is renovated and new. The pictures are representative and accurate. My family of 4 were all very comfortable and able to relax. We drove into NYC one day and took the train the other day, both easy and convenient options. Locally, the wine shop, greek restaurant and coffee shop all within walking distance were added bonuses. Trader joes snd fresh market were only 10 mins away by car. Would stay again!

Celebrating our 25th anniversary, we discovered a gem in Marlen's Mount Vernon home. Nestled in the serene Eastchester Neighborhood, it balanced our bustling Manhattan adventures—from the Statue of Liberty to Broadway—with peaceful relaxation. Marlen's home welcomed us with cleanliness, a fully equipped kitchen, and comfy bedrooms, enhancing our family's experience. The private backyard was our quiet retreat. Marlen stood out with her kindness and swift assistance. She was always ready to enhance our stay, making us feel more like guests than renters. Her home, a perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility, offered the city's excitement and the comfort of a family haven. I highly recommend it for a memorable New York visit.
