If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place, this is it. I stayed at this house for a week while in town for work. The dedicated work space was helpful and the quiet country property made for a peaceful and relaxed stay. The house was walk in ready, super clean and was fully stocked. The bed was very comfortable and the host was quick to respond with messages. Even though the house is in the country, it's only a 10-12 min drive to Florence or Effingham. The washer and dryer worked great and I cooked every day in the fully equipped kitchen. Even though the house is older, the heat & AC was new, and worked great. I highly recommend this stay and this host. Will book again if I return to the area.

This home felt like home away from home! We attended a family reunion, and this was the perfect location. Tranquility, accesible to everything, peaceful and private! The host was very responsive and timely and made it so easy! We will certainly book again the next time we're in the area! True definition of Southern Hospitality.

The place worked out well for us and was a good value. Described accurately so no surprises. We had some problems getting in using the electronic keypad when we first got there. I sent a message and they responded rather quickly to get us in. We had a similar issue the rest of our stay (the lock never worked right) and the communication wasn't as good. On our last morning, the security alarm went off and we were contacted by the alarm company but, because we were guests, they couldn't turn it off. It went off eventually. I sent messages to the host but never got a response. All in all, the place was good. Just the keypad and alarm system might need to be addressed, and consistent communication during the stay. I would still stay there again.
