Nestled in between Rochester & Corning is the Nest. A quaint escape from everyday hustle & bustle. The Nest is centrally located within the crossroads of the Finger Lakes & the Southern Tier in Wayland NY (Exit 3). Surrounded by Rolling hills & agricultural fields. NOTE-Next to FOrX Summer Stage. Concerts take place Saturdays (ONLY)June-Oct. Be advised on concert nights the units deck overlooks the action & can be loud. Not suitable for children 3 & under. Unit has stairs & is close to the road. - 2nd floor (Stairs) not suitable for children 3 and under, close to road. If you have any questions, feel to contact the Host. - Newly remodeled. - 850 Square feet of living space. - Full kitchen with appliances and dinnerware. - Dining area high top table with stools overlooking the garden. - Comfy sofa and an oversize pull out chair doubles as an extra sleeping space. - First bedroom has a queen size bed / fan in room if needed. - 2nd bedroom has a double bed & a twin bed with pullout/ ceiling fan and fan in room as well - 1 bath/ Shower (no Bathtub) - Private deck with access to 1st floor patio/yard. - Deck overlooks all the action that takes place during the live entertainment at: TheFOrXSummerStage - Concerts are (SATURDAYS ONLY) June thru Oct. - Note concert nights can be loud. Concerts are over by 11 P.M (some earlier) Check out website for more info. - Be advised Pets: 2 cats (will run and hide). Inside little dog 15 years old only goes outside with Host. Animals not allowed in unit.

I appreciated the CLEAN environment. The apartment was clean, orderly, and cozy. Jacalyn`s place had everything we could need and was well stocked. Thank you. I have a bit of a germ phobia and was honestly not looking forward to traveling with my 7-month-old, who is currently getting into everything and wanting to crawl on everything. I was more than comfortable placing him on the floor without worry.
It was much better place than the pictures on the homepage. Clean, cozy, and beautiful!!

The space was great.. it was the little things Jacalyn provided that I really enjoyed. Very comfortable and clean and quiet
Very neat and clean , perfect for the three of us in the party.. The TV was set up with Netflix for our use. Bathroom fully stocked with essentials as well the kitchen . We will be staying again in the near future.

Once you leave the Nest you can take flight in any direction for experiences that will impress and leave lasting memories.
Looking to explore nature? Be prepared to be in awe of these two geographic wonders, Stony Brook (10 min.) and Letchworth State Park (30 min) . Stony Brook is located off of Exit 4 from I-390 and Letchworth State Park (The Grand Canyon of the East) is about 30 minutes away( Mt. Morris exit ).On your way to the park Main Street Mt. Morris is lined with unique shops for exploring .If you turn right at the second light you will be in Geneseo ,College Town ( 10 min ). Many amenities are located there.
If water is your thing venture to the hidden and underdeveloped lakes of Hemlock and Canadice. Rent a kayak and enjoy one of these beautiful inland lakes with an abundance of fish, wildlife and more. You may even see an eagle nesting while you are there. Looking for something bigger? The famous Finger Lakes can be reached in almost any direction within an hour of travel time. The beauty of these majestic places will definitely take your breath away.
The nostalgic town of Naples,(15 min.) would be a great day trip to add to your agenda. Food, entertainment and shopping is available here. Places such as Caruso’s, Old School Café, Naples Hotel, The Brewery, Neapolitan Pizza are all on Main Street. Step in to some unique antique stores and boutiques for some treasures to take home. Enjoy Wine? With three wineries within the town and village you could take your pick between Arbor Hill Grapery & Winery, Hazzlitt Red Cat Cellars or Inspire Moore Winery for a tasting or tour!
Naples night life can be a memorable experience too. Visit Engine 14, Hollerhorn Distiller or Brews and Bratts for a relaxing and enjoyable venture.
Travel down Interstate 86 and you will not be disappointed. Spend the day at sites such as Corning Glass (40 min ) Hammondsport( 30min) and Watkins Glen (45 min.) Where shopping, sight-seeing and adventures are at your feather tips. The nest a jump away from I-390, one quarter mile) will take you to these 3 locations.
Once you return back to the Nest after a long day of exploring, you may even be able to catch a concert right from your porch. Check out the FOrX Summer Stage events. This seasonal venue is a few steps away where you can enjoy live music, food and drink.
