hey, in the end it was like grandma’s old house, needs some tlc, some updates, during summer weather some of the faults might not be noticeable or bothersome at least.

We wanted a place that was quiet and private. Serenity Cove fit the bill perfectly. Our hosts were quick to respond and even ordered a few items that I found missing or broken and had them shipped to their housekeepers, who quietly delivered them without disturbing us. The house is exactly as described and so some of the rustic charm is simply due to age. It’s obvious the owners are working to update and keep a family getaway continuing to provide a retreat for many more years. If you love back roads, there are incredible roads and views all around the area. If you love fresh baked treats, then you absolutely need to visit The Bakery at ML Cakes 11461 State Rte 21, Wayland. We stopped on a whim and rebaked treats were scrumptious. The Raspberry Cheesecake Brownies were big enough to split into several portions. My son declared the Boston Crème Doughnuts the best he’s had. While we didn’t ry them, she also makes vegan desserts and they looked just as delicious.

Our family enjoyed our weekend spent here as first time visitors to the area! While the house itself is fairly dated, it is certainly cozy and in a very gorgeous spot on the water. The host was always timely in responses and thorough. The only complaint is that we were not issued linens that we had requested ahead of time - but other than that, enjoyed our stay and it was well worth the price. For other first-time visitors, be sure to trek out to Naples and enjoy the scenery.

My family and I had a great time here. the scenery was beautiful the location was great. If u want time with the family this was it. our cell service was spotty but I could care less. we had wifi if we really needed to get a hold of some1 and or check whatever we needed to. The place was so peaceful compared to other places I've been to. No outside noise or racing cars or anything like that. The sound of a slow cruise motor from a boat to a fast running wave runner from time to time didn't kill nothing like a loud truck or cars flying down the road. it was just great. Only thing I will say is that I recommend that you buy what you need in one shot. the roads killed me on gas lol with all the up and downs. But over all we will be coming back in the near future.
