The home was nice. It was an old bed and breakfast and it felt as such. There are a lot of spiders. But the rooms are all very spacious with their own bathroom. The little cottage home was the best part. The backyard is nice especially at nighttime with the lights lit up and sitting around the fire pit. I just thought it was right on the water with lake views.

This home was spacious and having the added guest house gave us all room to spread out. Ample bathrooms, as if we all almost had a bathroom to oursevles. The back yard is amazing and had it been warmer we would have eaten our meals outside. This home is within a very short walk to the Lake and new park, we watched some great sunrises! Kind and responsive host

We loved our weekend at Forbestown! It was a relaxing retreat for my large family and being within walking distance to the lake was a huge plus for restless young adults (and our two dogs).

A bit of a pain to get into the house but loves the facility. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The garden could have used some work or maybe landscaped to a less maintenance garden. Overall, it was a great stay.

My siblings and I absolutely loved this place, especially the backyard and upper porch! The house is very cute and comfortable with lots of space! Between the carriage house and main house we fit 8 people very comfortably. The location is great, close to the lake with several restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor lights at at night.We hope to come back again next year!
