don't take the laint creek cutoff. ice lroperty. short teail thru the woods made for a nice 10 or 15 minute walk. i was too early in the season for the yurt. nice placs and sarah was very responsive.

We stayed Sarah's when visiting the New River Gorge, about 30 minutes away. The drive into West Virginia was beautiful in late October, although the road can get narrow and winding. The cold air and fall leaves were matched with the warm welcome we received from Sarah. She was very friendly and hospitable as she opened her home to us. Sarah welcomed us to one of her beautiful yurts and was very accommodating throughout our stay, offering enough blankets, breakfast. She even has plenty of different lavender products you can purchase. She has an amazing home with a chicken coup onsite too, so the eggs felt even better coming from her. Overall it was an amazing glamping experience and we hope others are able to stay at this wonderful home with an amazing host.

This place is nothing short of beautiful and amazing. We were met by a gaggle of free range chickens! The Yurt was simple but beautiful at the same time! Comfy bed and cozy! Amazing stars at night and the distant highway noise was great for white noise to help fall asleep! Quiet surroundings and everyone was friendly!

My husband, son and I stayed in the Lavender sunset Yurt. We were passing through to see the New River Gorge, and Sarah's place was close by. Not only was it very clean, and stylishly decorated, but the bed was very comfortable as well. Even though the bathroom is a porta potty, I must mention that it was the cleanest porta potty I have ever been in! The property is incredible and we really enjoyed getting to see the chickens in the morning! Unfortunately we woke up to a downpour so my son didn't get a chance to play, but she had mentioned upon arrival a sandbox for kids to play. Also the shop was adorable and had everything you could possibly need! We instantly felt right at home, charging our phones and fixing up something for dinner. In the morning, complimentary cookies and coffee. And she also offered an opportunity for a shower inside her house. Sarah was beyond accommodating and so very nice! I would absolutely recommend and we hope to stop back again next year!

The yurt was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The bed was firm and small, with my feet hanging off (I'm 5'2"). However, I do sleep lower on the bed. The bathroom was porta potty and less pleasant after someone used it for a longer visit. The outdoor shower lacked privacy. Proximity to other guests meant we could hear conversations. Accessing the yurt required driving up a steep, grassy hill. Bring bug spray, sunscreen, a portable fan, and a swim suit for added comfort. Overall, a pleasant stay with considerations. The store with lavender products was a nice touch.
