Barbara was a wonderful, friendly, and responsive host. The space has nicely sized, beautifully furnished rooms with very comfortable beds. The AC unit worked great. There is a kitchenette with a 2-burner stove top, microwave, a mini-refrigerator, a Keurig machine with pods, and a sink. We used it for making breakfasts, but it isn't really big enough for larger meals. The neighborhood, however, which is just feet away, is replete with wonderful places to eat for all budgets, and a wide variety of shopping. I believe TimeOut rates it as one of the coolest neighborhoods in the country. Despite the active location, the building itself was far enough away from the hubbub to be very safe and quiet. Having a dedicated parking spot was also a big plus, but it is also close to train and bus. We would definitely rent the place again.
Right in the heart of one of the best neighborhoods in Chicago, this AirBNB had everything our family needed! Lots of attention to detail, even little toys/games for the kids to keep them entertained away from home. Comfortable and we will definitely stay here again when we're back in town!
Great place in a fab location and so valuable to have parking included. Given that it’s a garden apartment there is some noise from upstairs and laundry next door but nothing more than you would expect. Barbara was great to communicate with and Andersonville is the best neighborhood!
Barbara is a wonderful host and her place is in the heart of Andersonville. The three bedrooms are all cozy. There is a kitchenette which works great for take out. Laundry is coin operated. We had a few requests related to an early plane to check and Barbara helped us so much!
What a wonderful experience! Drove in from Minneapolis for my brother’s birthday. Driveway parking in one of the busiest neighborhoods is a MUST! What an incredible amenity. Only matched by the unit itself. With 3 well sized and appointed bedrooms, it was so comfortable for my parents and I to all stay under one roof together. Barb is a great host, very thoughtful and kind. I will definitely be back! This is my go-to Chicago reservation, no contest.

Andersonville is the best place I've ever lived, and I am happy to share this wonderful neighborhood with you. I'm retired from many things: news reporting, art representation and teaching. My three grown children are all finished with graduate school and are starting families of their own. This is my wonderful home in the city, with a spacious and bright pied a terre for travellers.
