The house and location were so lovely, we loved sitting on the back deck looking out at the hills. Well-stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook at home, nicely appointed rooms, just generally wonderful. The driveway is very steep and long, with nowhere to turn around, so you're either doing a tricky walk up and down (make sure your knees are in order!) or reversing one way or other. We hadn't known in advance about the cat and one of our party was very allergic. Luckily meds solved the problem after a very sneezy 30 minutes. Technically I think the cat lives with the downstairs tenant? But came into the house when we had doors open and the first morning we woke up to find him IN the house, having used a cat door. We also had an issue with check in being delayed as cleaner wasn't finished, so settled in a half hour later than planned. Usually wouldn't be too big a deal, but our kids were feeling crummy after the long twisty drive we'd had and just needed to be done.

Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sofort wohl gefühlt. Alles hat gepasst: schöne K0che, die komplett ausgestattet ist, bequeme Lounge, sehr grosses TV, bequeme Betten, tolle Handtücher... Und last but not least: Sam, der liebe Kater. wir hätten ihn am liebsten mitgenommen, er hat uns erobert. Das einzige, was etwas unbequem ist, ist die steile Zufahrt, aber das schafft man auch locker. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder buchen. Jacqueline war auch immer erreichbar und war sehr freundlich.

Jacqueline was a warm and responsive host, who provides a home that surprises and delights with the space, comfort, amenities and location. Had everything! Highly recommend and we will be back for sure. We even had supplies of veggies from the home garden! You're in the Country but Beach 3 minutes away and City only 35 minutes away!
