I booked this cottage for 12 nights for 2 adults and 3 kids. There was a double bed in one room and two single beds in the other. Bath and shower room was large and clean. Kitchen was nicely equipped for cooking with plenty crockery. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the little front garden. Highly recommend.

There is a wide range of dining options available, from gourmet dining to classic pub fare. Ulverston is also noted for its festivals, which include everything from flags and walks to art and music festivals in the summer, as well as the famed Dickensian Christmas celebration in late November. It is the birthplace of Stan Laurel and the world record holder for the largest foam pie battle in the world, providing a look into the lively neighbourhood.
