Take it easy at this unique and tranquil mountain getaway, located 15 miles from Moab off the iconic La Sal Mountain Loop Road. The Sagewood Cabin is a 450 sf, single-level, studio cabin. A queen bed accommodates guests, along with a loveseat couch that folds into a twin bed. An inviting, private hot tub awaits you! Free washer & dryer facilities are within a few hundred yards of cabin There's much to explore right out the front door of this quaint, comfortable cabin! Need more or less space? The best views of the La Sal Mountain peaks are enjoyed from the front porch of Sagewood cabin. The private hot tub, high speed internet, satellite television, BBQ grill and micro (fully equipped) kitchen allow guests to relax in this comfortable and scenic setting. Our 50 acres of private property includes trails and 4 onsite ponds, offering catch and release fishing. You may also enjoy the playground and yard games such as frisbee, soccer, corn toss, kite flying, football on the vast and enticing lawn!

The airbnb was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The real star was the location. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the snow capped mountains was an unfortgettable experience. Thanks for a great stay, and I highly reccomend. The only thing to keep in mind is that it's a little bit of a drive to get into town, but that's to be expected for the beautiful and private location. We also enjoyed walking around the property which was very well maintained.
This place is most worth it when you spend multiple days! That’s our one regret from our experience for only staying one night. The cabin was clean, kitchen had plenty of supplies, and the outdoor grill was cleaned for us as well. The location is a 45 min drive away from Moab, but the time felt worth it because of how beautiful the surroundings were and the peacefulness of the area. Thank you Kelly!
We had an amazing time at Whispering Oaks Ranch. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and well appointed—stocked with everything we needed. It was nice to be able to bring our little dog who also thoroughly enjoyed his vacation. The view from our private hot tub was fantastic. We enjoyed exploring the property and checking out the ponds. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to do it again!
Overall an amazing place to stay. Only reason I didn’t do a 5 is because it is kind of far away from any sort of place to get supplies or food (40 minutes). After a long day of driving to get to this place that was the only downside which is why I’m posting this so people don’t make our same mistake. Other than that the space and views are amazing!

Arches & Canyonlands National Parks may be accessed in approximately 1 hour. Warner and Oowah Lakes are within 6 miles and offer beautiful mountain scenery, hiking trails, and fishing. There are a number of advanced mountain biking trails that begin right in our backyard including the famous, Whole Enchilada. This series of trails weaves through our elevation about 4 miles north of the property. Parking at the Castle Valley overlook on the La Sal Mountain Loop Road is near the Kokopelli trail and Porcupine single track.
Sand Flats Road (intersection just 1.6 miles north of Whispering Oaks Ranch) provides spectacular views and lower elevation trails.
Sagewood is a great base camp for reuniting with family and friends, river rafting, mountaineering, repelling, exploring, hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, or simply getting away from the city.
If you're a golf enthusiast, Moab Golf Club has a beautiful and challenging 18 hole golf course surrounded by breathtaking red rocks. The Hideout Golf Course (even more challenging) in Monticello (50 miles south of Moab) sits at approximately 7,000 ft elevation, amongst majestic oaks and meandering creeks.
La Sal Mountain Loop Road is accessible year-round. Note: 4WD is strongly recommended in the winter.
