Gerald was an amazing host. I haven’t stayed somewhere more peaceful. On top of great instructions on how to find the place he made my friends and I fresh blueberry muffins upon our arrival. 10/10 would come back if I’m in the area.

We specifically came to the area to visit the Great Lakes and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Everything we wanted to do was within 30 to 45 minutes of Gerald's place. The cabin was quiet, remote, and felt like an actual getaway. The lake, which is literally right behind the cabin, made for a romantic evening with a fire and an unbelievable view of the stars. If you're looking to get away from a suburban or city environment, i highly recommend this place.

Sehr ruhig gelegene Hütte mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Gerald war ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Der spontane gemeinsame Abend am Lagerfeuer mit ihm und seiner Familie wird uns lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Perfekter Standort für zahlreiche Aktivitäten wie z. Bsp. die Pictured Rocks. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die eine Auszeit in der Natur suchen!
