Entire spacious bungalow with a lovely sunny garden, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and two bedrooms with a king and double bed. Perfect location for those visiting the USAF airbase or nearby locations such as Thetford forest, or for those avid plane watchers. (Please note that the fighter planes fly next to the house, so are loud on occasion - see notes). Easy walk to Maidscross Hill Nature Reserve. Self check-in available and flexible on checkout times if arranged in advance. Bedroom 1 with king size bed and two double built in wardrobes. Two bedside table with lamp. Bedroom 2 with double bed and single built in wardrobe. Two bedside tables with lamps. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, cooker with oven/grill/hobs and dishwasher. Washing machine available in the utility room. Large living room with comfortable sofas, coffee table and 42inch TV. Access to private sunny garden, with garden sofa under sun canopy. Plenty of drive parking for at least two cars, with more street parking. Cul-de-sac location, so quiet and away from main road.

It was very nice to have stand alone house while visiting our son, very close to his house and easy to travel to him. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was very quiet the only noise was the jets in the morning but that is expected so close to the base. Katie was very responsive to all our questions and very accommodating with check in and check out.

The location to Katie's place was perfect. A close proximity to where my son lives and the shops. It's a quaint home with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. I would stay here again if given the opportunity to come back.

We so enjoyed our stay at Katie's bungalow. It is both close to the USAF base (5 minutes) and within walking distance of the village of Lakenheath. The house was spotless with plenty of room, private, peaceful & quiet - we were able to finally catch up on some much needed rest after our long travel overseas. The house is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac with a beautiful woodland footpath just feet from the driveway. Our dogs loved their daily run up the path to Maids Cross park/sanctuary. Katie is an amazing host and provided everything we could possibly need during our stay. We would absolutely stay there again - cannot recommend it enough!

Safe quiet neighbourhood.
Maidscross Hill Nature Reserve is within a 5 minute walk, which can be accessed to the field directly across the road from the house. Lovely area for walking, especially if bringing pets.
Village shop, restaurants and takeaways are located a 15-20 minutes walk away.
Buses very irregular, so private transportation is required if travelling outside the village. Plentiful of parking on the drive and on the street.
