Unlike other old towns, we have views to the ocean, narrow bluestone cobble streets, our castle forts are the oldest in the Americas. And our natural harbor is the biggest in the Caribbean. The city's Spanish gird architecture allows cross-ventilation between its buildings and squares. Numerous Plazas, Restaurants, Museums, Churches, and Shops to stroll by. Old San Juan often hosts concerts, festivals and special events. Take advantage of my local know-how to get acquainted with the city and its special gems. Only a 15 minute walk eastward towards the Capitol building will take you to La Pena, the nearest beach with a natural reef barrier can be your daily routine.
Please note that parking on the streets are limited to permanent residents. Fines are US$250.00 each occurrence. Getting by on foot is best in the old city and an easy Uber ride to any other part of the Metropolitan area. There are private and public parking garages available just 5 minutes walking from the apartment. The closest public parking is Covadonga just $5 per day and the nearest private parking is La Cochera.
