This is a leafy suburban area 10 minutes from the Wynnum/Manly bay area, 30 mins from Cleveland/Stradbroke Island ferries.
There are a large number of bush walking trails around where you can see tawny frog mouths, powerful owls and even koalas if you are really lucky!
Wynnum west shops are 5 minutes down the road, and there are local shops within 10 mins walking distance with Aldi, Chemist Warehouse, great greek, japanese and burger restaurants and the all important bottle-o.

There are buses and trains from the city to near by. The 220 and 227 and the most common buses to get from the city - depending on where you are starting from. The train is about 7 minute drive from the house. I'm happy to pick you up from the train station if I'm around. I work from home, so i'm around often. I can also meet you at the bus stop which is a short 5 minute walk from my house.
Once all your gear is here, getting buses around are easy. I can provide you with timetables once you arrive.
