The place is amazing. Nice quiet and private location, close to so many things. we will surely stay here again. Walter was great checking that we got in OK and found everything. He also gave us ideas of things to do in the area

Walter’s place was exactly as described. Lovely peaceful location. Close to a lot of Waterfords attractions. Will definitely be returning. Found Walter very quick to respond.

The Old Barn has very comfortable spaces for relaxing and sleeping. It is also well supplied with most kitchen equipment for self catering though I found the absence of a teapot a bit unusual!! The shop in the village is well stocked with the basics and there are good supermarkets in Dungarvan. Make sure to get Walter to explain about the workings of the TV, heating and hot water systems! Stradbally itself is a very picturesque village. It is in a very good location for access to the wonderful West Waterford coastline and the Greenway. The drive along the Copper Coast to Tramore has splendid views if you are lucky with the weather. Access to great walks including the Comeragh Mountains is also good.

Myself and my partner had a lovely few days in the old barn. It is exactly as described. Lovely and cosy and plenty of room for 2. We always bring food away with us so the cooking facilities were ideal. Walter was a great host.
