This is a spacious and attractive apartment located in a nice residential neighborhood, comfortable for a larger family, group of friends, or three couples. The beds are excellent, the kitchen well stocked, and we appreciated the off-street parking and modern TV. We enjoyed the one mile walk to downtown New Haven, including some excellent restaurants, the Yale art museum and campus.

The home was beautifully done and was comfortable. Ismet provided everything needed for a short stay. Unfortunately, it’s not in a safe location and there are no good areas to walk dogs. Close to Yale; however, it is not safe walking to Yale, especially at night. You definitely need to drive everywhere. We left early because it was not a comfortable environment. Ismet was not always friendly and criticized my behavior. The fire alarm was chirping and he was reluctant to fix it, and when pushed, he finally sent someone over who just removed it. The entire time the house was missing a fire alarm in the bedroom. He said it would be “fine”. He also monitors the outside cameras closely and criticized my parking. The directions were not clear and he was condescending when I parked incorrectly. I am an independent, professional woman with multiple degrees. I know how to park when given proper instruction. His place is not ideal for a family. Outside is filthy with trash everywhere.

A great place to stay for the Yale-Harvard football game; a 20 minute walk from the bowl. The house has plenty of room. A parking space behind the house is an added convenience. Ismet did a fairly good job of communicating.

Great and responsive host. Very accommodating to all of our needs. We had a fantastic stay!
